Information N1 handles

Account information

Your username, email address, password hash, account status, email-verification state, and security-related credential version. N1 never needs you to send a password by email.

Context you choose to save

Preferences, named memories, plans, events, meal reports, nutrition estimates, corrections, dates, source wording, and revision relationships that you explicitly ask N1 to record.

Connection information

OAuth client and consent records, scoped authorization grants, sessions, and the callback address needed to connect your account. Generated client secrets are shown once and stored only as a password-style hash.

Signup and security information

N1 records the product build and Terms revision joined, the acceptance time, and bounded source or campaign labels when they are present in a signup link. It also processes request counters, time windows, cryptographic values derived from network addresses, and limited application or proxy logs needed to prevent abuse and diagnose service failures. N1 does not put saved evidence, email addresses, or connector secrets into campaign measurement. When a landing link includes a valid source or campaign label, same-tab session storage keeps only those bounded labels while you browse the N1 site so signup can retain the source. That browser value is not sent anywhere until you choose to submit the signup form, and it is cleared when the tab session ends.

Onboarding progress

To understand whether the early-access setup works, N1 records timestamps for the first successful authenticated connector read, first confirmed preference or memory save, a later same-capability qualifying read, deliberate dashboard evidence inspection, and any explicit confirmation that the retrieval happened in a fresh ChatGPT chat. These records contain only the bounded capability name “preferences” or “memory”—never the saved text, record identifier, source quote, prompt, or ChatGPT conversation identifier. Because N1 cannot infer ChatGPT conversation identity, a fresh-chat confirmation is identified as your self-confirmation rather than telemetry-proven fact.

Records from earlier N1 versions

An account created with an earlier version may still contain conversation, weight, or goal records from retired features. N1 preserves those records for their account owner even when the current interface no longer creates them; they remain within account export and deletion controls.

How information is used

  • Provide your dashboard and the N1 connector capabilities you request.
  • Authenticate your account and keep account spaces separated.
  • Deliver email verification and password-recovery messages.
  • Preserve source and revision history so records remain inspectable.
  • Protect the service, investigate failures, and enforce reasonable usage limits.

When a connected N1 tool is used in ChatGPT, the information needed to answer that tool request is returned to ChatGPT. OpenAI handles that information under the terms and privacy choices for your ChatGPT account. N1 is not affiliated with OpenAI.

Service providers and disclosure

N1 relies on infrastructure providers to host the service and on Resend to deliver account email. Providers process only the information needed for those functions. N1 may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

ChatGPT receives account data only when you authorize the N1 connection and invoke a tool. A provider may process information outside your country; where applicable, N1 relies on the provider’s contractual transfer safeguards. The current status of the legal operator, operating country, and governing jurisdiction is disclosed above without assuming details that have not been confirmed.

The owner administration view can manage account access and see account metadata, but it does not provide a way to browse another person’s private evidence.

Retention and revisions

Active account information and saved records are retained while needed to provide N1. Corrections create history by design; removing an active preference or archiving a record does not erase its earlier revisions. That history is different from an account-deletion request. Onboarding-progress metadata is retained with the account, appears in the account export, and is erased when an eligible account is permanently deleted.

Database backups are retained for no more than 30 days and are scheduled to expire or be deleted after that period. Limited proxy and security logs are retained for no more than 30 days and are likewise scheduled to expire or be deleted. A record may be isolated for longer only when preservation is required by law or necessary to investigate a specific security incident.

Browser sessions expire after 15 minutes of inactivity. Connector access tokens last up to 15 minutes and refresh tokens up to 7 days unless revoked sooner. Email-verification links last up to 24 hours and password-reset links up to 30 minutes; queued email is removed after delivery or expiry. Application rate-limit counters are removed after no more than 2 days.

Operational logging is intentionally limited to metadata needed for service reliability, abuse prevention, and security investigation. N1 does not intentionally log passwords, authentication tokens, Authorization headers, cookies or session credentials, secrets or API keys, or request bodies containing health, nutrition, saved context, or other user content.

Your choices

You can inspect current records in the dashboard, ask N1 to correct or archive supported records, and revoke a ChatGPT connection. After confirming your current password, the Account panel provides a ZIP export of your account metadata and complete saved evidence history. Signed-in non-owner accounts can also permanently delete their account there after entering their current password and the exact on-screen confirmation.

If you cannot use those controls, email support@projectnightone.com from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also ask to access or correct personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, or complain to the relevant privacy regulator. N1 uses account information to provide the service you request and uses limited security processing to protect users and the service. Because the final operating country and governing jurisdiction are not yet confirmed, this notice does not claim a specific statutory rights regime. It will be updated when those details are confirmed; mandatory rights that apply to you are not excluded by this notice.

Children

N1 early access is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Do not create an account if you are under 18.

Contact and changes

Privacy questions can be sent to support@projectnightone.com. Never email a password, OAuth client secret, or private record content.
